How the “On-Line Course-Taking” Process Works
Assumptions This course assumes you have a working knowledge of body
composition, at least as far as understanding the compartmentalization of
lean and fat tissues. Because you are expected to have a baseline
understanding of body composition as mentioned above, this course qualifies
as Category II CPE. |
|
If you are a dietitian or a dietetic technician, registered through the American Dietetic Association (ADA), you
are eligible to apply for three continuing professional education (CPE) units toward the maintenance of your registration upon successful completion
of the course. At the end of the course, click on the "Take the Post-Test" button, take the test, and
submit it for grading. Your test will be graded immediately and a printable CEU certificate presented to you. |
Features
For each table that shows weights in pounds and
height in inches there is a link you can click to see the table in metric
measures. If you experience trouble with this feature, please be assured that the
information you need to complete the post-test is within the written text.
If you own or otherwise have access to a BIA
machine, you may want to try it out on a friend or other friendly and willing
person before you apply it to your clinical practice. During your trial period
of using this technology, feel free to email any questions to the author
Sheila Vogan,
Continuing Education Director at Hi-R-Ed Online University
.
