Accreditations

Courses award continuing education credits to nurses, case managers and social workers. Some courses may be used toward meeting the continuing education requirements of Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES) and Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN).

All courses are always free. All courses offer certificates of completion upon completion of the course evaluation and post-test. After successfully completing the course's post-test your certificate will be generated and presented onscreen for printing or saving to your computer.

Nurses:
Hi-R-Ed Online University is approved as a provider of continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CEP 13804). The programs listed on the course selection page will earn the participant continuing education credit upon successful completion of the post-test. Courses vary in the number of credits awarded.

Social Workers:

Hi-R-Ed Online University, provider #1091, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 2/28/2025 – 2/28/2028.

Certified Case Managers:

Courses on this site are approved by the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) for continuing education credit for Certified Case Managers. See individual courses for more information.
