Cellulitis, Visually Speaking
Cellulitis can take several forms as illustrated in the photographs
below:

This photo shows cellulitis isolated in
a limb. This type of cellulitis is typical of that which develops under
a bandage or other covered area. The area is usually warm to the touch
and causes much pain. Significant erythema is present. In the
center is seen an ulcerated area. |

This photo shows
severe cellulitis on
an extremity. There is erythema present in patches. Note the slight
swelling and erosion present. |

This patient has
cellulitis secondary to another skin infection. Note the ulcerated and
inflamed tissue. |

hydrophila infection. |
